Those 18th Century beauties just LOVED their giant pearl earrings! Such a bold statement to go with their elaborate hair and luscious gowns! I've based these reproduction earrings off of this portrait of an unknown lady by Elisabeth Vigee-Lebrun.
These vintage acryllic pearl teardrops are great! They are a baroque style pearl which means they have little divots in them instead of being smooth, which adds a nice unique quality to them.
The earrings are quite large- a little over 2 inches in length- but are surprising light. They have a lot of beautiful movement and are just so lovely in person. I'm just thrilled with them!
Findings used are nickel-free and gold-plate, so no worries about allergies. You can select my historically accurate hoop findings, traditional leverback, or screw-back clip-ons.
